Peña
Torremolinos, Málaga, year 1961 Her initial formative steps began with the study of space and environment design. In 1989, she moved to Switzerland to further her education, developing in precise areas such as structural design of packaging and displays, executing works for important firms. Her designs began to gain recognition in the sector, being published in specialized magazines praising aspects such as innovation and functionality. She continued outside of Spain, expanding her training first in technical fields and gradually more artistic ones. Graphic design, photography, and drawing established the pillars on which her first spontaneous artistic manifestations were founded. After several years exploring her own creative identity, she reached maturity with works that achieved notable recognition in the field of design. Her unique current works, very personal, are distinguished by their composition and the abandonment of orthodox forms. She disregards careful drawing lines and focuses on the impression caused by the result of her compositions, generally starting from a photographic base. Ultimately, the viewer must form the final result in their imagination, allowing themselves to be seduced by elements such as evocation, feeling, or the musicality of the works that the author presents with originality.
