Andres Calderon Sanchez

I am a self-taught painter. I began my artistic career as a draftsman in 1991, working in graphite and charcoal, and soon transitioned to pastel drawings using soft pastels and oil pastels. In 1997, I started painting with oils and acrylics. Since 1998, I have been exhibiting my work up to the present day. I have participated in national and international painting competitions, where my work has been selected on numerous occasions. I was a founding member of the artistic group ARA in Madrid, with which we developed an art project creating miniature paintings entitled “Pequeño Madrid”, depicting the most iconic views of the capital of Spain. My work is represented in public institutional collections.
